Yeehah. We have made it 2 weeks along and Teaspoon Little still has her stitches in place. A few times l were sure she was going to end up with one of those Elizabethan collars on but.
Tomorrow morning the vet is going to remove them and look her over. l think she is fine, no infection or anything of concern (but then, l am not a vet).
l just know that putting her in the car tomorrow is going to get me hated by her and by all the other dogs who still havent really forgiven me for taking Teaspoon away and ‘hurting’ her (the op, not like the dogs can understand it was for her own good. They just think l take perfectly good dogs, stick them in the evil car and drive off with them).
Hoping for a clean bill of health for the little dog.

Sounds like she’s well on the road to recovery – great to hear. I had to look the pyometra up and it sounds reeeealy scary – so glad you caught it in time.
